Happy Halloween!

So, who did a better job at dressing up for Halloween, The Today Show Cast or Live With Regis and Kelly?

The Today Show Cast - If you watched the The Today Show this morning, you might have not recognized anyone. Every year they dress up in elaborate costumes and this year was not any different. This Halloween the cast took on the theme of fairy tales. Matt Lauer dressed up as huge Humpty Dumpty. Meredith Vierra was Pinocchio. Ann Curry was Cinderella. Al Roker was the gingerbread man. On the other side is Live with Regis and Kelly, who once again always put on a great Halloween show with their costumes. The thing about Regis and Kelly is that they just don’t stick with one costume, but have several costume changes throughout the show. The show started off with Kelly as Sarah Palin and Regis as Joe Biden. Some of the later costumes they wore was Kelly as Shawn Johnson and Regis as Olympic gymnist coach Bella Karolyi. Kelly as Paula Dean and Regis as Chef Ramsey. Kelly was also Miley Cyrus and Regis Billy Ray Cyrus. Then they finished off the show judging the best Halloween costumes as Heidi Klum and Tin Gunn from Project Runway.

I have to say that my favorite was Regis and Kelly and I always enjoy them changing the costumes throughout the whole show and making it fun to see what they will come out with next.

Country singer Carrie Underwood was seen out having dinner with the former Bachelor Dr. Travis Stork in Philadelphia. (Stork can now be seen on the talk show The Doctors). Sources say that Underwood referred to Stork as her “boyfriend” during the dinner. The couple had dinner with two friends and were seen skipping down the sidewalk after dinner.

I think that Underwood and Stork actaully make a cute couple. I know that Stork is several years older than Underwood, but it seems like nowadays that age means nothing.  Although these two being a couple is still a rumor as Underwood’s rep has not confirmed it yet, I think am actually rooting for these two!

Yes, you read the title right, the CW network is in the works right now of making a Melrose Place spin-off show.  Melrose Place could be right behind 90210 in which they would get a new re-made version of Melrose Place. The show, if everything goes according to plan will premiere for the 2009-10 television season. There is no word yet if some of the Melrose Placestars, such as Heather Locklear, Marcia Cross, or Courtney Thorne-Smith will have any part in the show.

So, what is your opinion on this? Mine is that they need to come up with original shows and stop trying to resurrect old television shows into new ones. I mean we already have 90210 and Knight Rider, and now Melrose Place? I have only watched 2 episodes of the new 90210show and I was completely turned off, because it was nothing like the original series. Maybe, I’m just an old fashioned gal but nothing will compare to the original 90210 and the original Melrose Place.

According to Variety, the Jonas Brothers have signed on to a movie called Walter the Farting Dog. The movie will star Kevin, Joe, Nick and their little brother Frankie. The movie is based on a bestselling book series for children of the same name. Walter, who is the main character of the movie and books is an overweight dog with smelly farts.

The filming of Walter the Farting Dog will begin next spring.  This movie will be a big stretch of the boys acting abilities, as they will play musicians in the movie! Big surprise huh? I’m sure that there will be a sound track to go with the movie chock full of Jonas Brothers music.

I guess I am just too old for the Jonas Brothers and don’t see their appeal. I’m sure any tween or teenager reading this will have to disagree with me. This movie about a farting dog will probably be the number one movie at the box-office when it comes out due to all the little girls and teenagers that just love the Jonas Brothers. But you can be sure this is one movie that I probably will not be going to see!

Jennifer Hudson’s family held a prayer vigil today as news came that the Chicago police found a body thought to be Jennifer’s nephew. Julian King has been missing since last Friday, when police found the bodies of Jennifer’s mother and brother shot in their house, but her Julian was nowhere to be found.

The body was found in the backseat of a white Suburban on Monday. The body was brought to the coroner to do test to correctly identify the body. The amber alert that went out for Julian King was to be on the lookout for a white SUV that had been stolen from the house.

What a heartbreaking story this. My prayers and thoughts go out to Jennifer and her family during this difficult time.

I know this isn’t the usual post that I do, but when is the last time you hugged your mother? brother? spouse? child? and told them that you love them? I’m sure Jennifer would have loved one more time with her family to do so!

*Update: The police has confirmed that the body of the boy is in fact Hudson’s nephew, Juilian King.

A couple of days ago, I wrote about Nick Hogan (Bollea) being released early from jail. Well it seems that a source close to the Hogan family has said that Nick is looking at places to live in Los Angeles as he wants to go to school out there.  This is according to TMZ. com. Nick is looking for a “fresh start” in a new city, as he doesn’t want to go back to the were he grew up and lives because of all the drama with the accident.

Maybe he should move to New York instead as there isn’t a lot of driving in New York City considering that his license is suspended until the year 2011. How will he get to school in LA? Will Brooke, his sister move out there with him and pursue her singing career or at least try to? I definitely smell a VH1 reality show in the works here! Maybe he can hook-up with the girls from The Hills!!

So, with all these celebrities having babies lately, it’s hard to keep up with exactly who is due when. Here is a little recap of the baby bumps in Hollywood right now.

1. Amy Poehler - Due in late October, or any day now!

2. Ashlee Simpson - Due around Thanksgiving.

3. Naomi Watts - Due with her second child in December, although this has not been confirmed by her.

4. Jennifer Garner - Due with her second child also in December.

5. Lisa Bonet - Due in early winter.

6. Rebecca Romijn - Due with her twin girls sometime in January.

7. Alison Sweeney - Due with her second child, a girl in January.

8. Brooke Mueller Sheen - Due with her twins in early spring/late winter time.

8. Alyson Hannigan - Due in April with her first child.

10. Kimberly Williams-Paisley - Due in April with second child.

Now that Guy Ritchie is finally free from Madonna, it appears that he wanted to go out and celebrate with the guys. Ritchie hung out with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law Thursday night. After shooting their movie, Sherlock Holmes, the three men headed out in London together and visited a friend’s art exhibit. Sources say that Ritchie looked like he was in better spirits than he appeared several days ago when the split was first announced.

 The same source claims that when Guy saw the picture of his son Rocco wearing a Yankee’s t-shirt, he was “in pieces.” As we all know, Alex Rodriguez, who Madonna is supposed romantically involved with, plays for the Yankees. I think that this was pretty poor taste on Madonna’s part, as why rub it in Ritchie’s face and use your kid to get back at your ex. That’s just something that you don’t do.

Hopefully, Guy Ritchie will find a younger, prettier woman and make Madonna jealous!

Poor, Heidi! Her line of clothing called Heidiwood has been discontinued at Anchor Blue stores. The Hillsstar sold her clothing line in the store for a year and the Anchor Blue has decided not to renew a contract to sell Heidiwood. According to the director of sales at Anchor Blue, the reason why they are not continuing the line is because “they will be concentrating solely on what their heritage, their foundation, is based on — denim.”

So, does this mean that Heidi is going to have to look elsewhere for a place to sell her Heidiwood clothes?  I wonder if the other places that sell Heidiwood are going to get rid of it too. (I think it’s sold at Kitson as well). It appears that her try at singing didn’t go so well and now her clothing line is failing. I guess she will forever be in the shadows of Lauren. I think that if Heidi wants to get out and do something to make herself known, then she needs to stop trying to play off the Heidi and Lauren fight, dump Spencer, and just see what she can do on her own.

One of my favorite shows that I actually have time to watch is Grey’s Anatomy, but I was definitely getting tired with the whole on and off again relationship of Meredith and Dr. McDreamy. Well, according to Patrick Dempsey, who plays Dr. McDreamy (Derek),  “There may be [wedding bells in the future].”  Dempsey also added, “rumor has it something might be happening.”

So, could the something possibly be a baby? That was the first thing that I thought of when, I read what he told USA Today. Could Meredith get pregnant and then they decide to get married, or is the “something” a something bad instead? I’m just happy to hear that finally Derek and Meredith my finally stay together and get married. Grey’s Anatomy will have to still cause drama between them somehow and that is why I thought it would a baby.

Most likely, we will have to wait until next year, probably towards the end of the season before anything happens, and then it will probably be a cliff hanger like they always do.

So for all you Grey’s Anatomy fans, are you happy that Meredith and Derek may hopefully be getting married this season?
