Helio Castroneves Facing Charges on Tax Fraud
Race car driver and Dancing With the Stars champion, Helio Castroneves was indicted on tax fraud on Thursday. It is being alleged that he failed to pay the IRS more than $5 million that he hit in a bank account. Along with Helio, his attorney and his sister was also indicted on tax fraud charges. Their first appearance in federal court for the charges is this morning.
Okay? What is with celebrities thinking they can hide all this money from the IRS? Like the guy from Survivor or Wesley Snipes? Do they really think that the IRS is not going to miss $5 million? I mean, the average person won’t even make $5 in 30 years of working and he thinks that he can just hide it from the IRS? Doesn’t he know that is their job? I have nothing against Helio, but he should have to pay for this and spend some time in jail and think about what the heck he was doing.
