Matt Damon Signs on For a 4th “Bourne” Movie
It’s official that Matt Damon will be returning as Jason Bourne in a 4th installment of the “Bourne Identity” movies. The difference in the 4th movie is that it will be an original story and not based off the books by Robert Ludlum. The movie will once again be produced by Universal and will be directed by Paul Greengrass, who directed “The Bourne Ultimatum” and “The Bourne Supremacy.”
Although I like the “Bourne” movies, I think that this 4th movie may be a mistake. First of all, it will not be based on the novels about Jason Bourne and secondly, many times when a production company says it’s going to stop with a certain movie and then decided to make one more, the movie usually is a flop. Look at the Rocky series. Was it really necessary to put out the Rocky Balboa movie how many years after Rocky 5, which wasn’t that good. Who knows, I may be wrong, and I actually hope I am.
It may be a mistake, or it may be freakin awesome. I loved the trilogy, and here’s to hoping this one kicks ass too.
