Jennifer Hudson Lip Synched The National Anthem
It has come out that Jennifer Hudson lip synched The National Anthem at the Super Bowl. The show’s producer, Ricky Minor actually recommended that Jennifer lip sync it instead of singing live. He said that There’s too many variables to go live. I would never recommend any artist go live, because the slightest glitch would devastate the performance.”
This was also the first time that Jennifer has made a public appearance since the deaths of her mom, brother and nephew. According to Minor, Jennifer is “in such a great place, with such great spirits, and time can heal her wounds.” I’m sure her mother would have been proud to see her sing The National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
Lip synching at major events like the Super Bowl is not uncommon, but what I want to know is how come when someone like Ashlee Simpson lip synch on Saturday Night Live, which is a live program, she gets tons of flack for it? I guess more people respect Jennifer Hudson and know that she can really sing. Any way you look at it, her singing was beautiful and moving.
